Welcome to Hollybeck Garden Centre, situated overlooking beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside not far from the historic Cathedral town Southwell. We’re a family-run independent business serving the local community since 2002. We offer a friendly, personalised experience with knowledgeable advice as our history is firmly rooted in the horticultural industry.
Our goals are simple; to provide exceptional quality plants at affordable prices, and strive to cater to all your gardening, landscaping, and giftware needs. Our passionate team is always on hand to offer advice, answer your gardening questions, and help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
Our gift shop offers an abundance of jewellery, stationery, homewares, cards, food department and the ever popular loose sweets. As well as birdcare, seeds, bulbs, house plants, tools, ferts and chems, garden clothing, plastic and terracotta pots, ornaments and seasonal departments.

Visiting Hollybeck: your questions answered
When is Hollybeck Garden Centre open?
Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 10.30am to 4.30pm.
When is the Topiary Tearoom open, and can I book?
The tearoom is open daily from 9.30am to 3.30pm, with last orders at 3pm. We do not take bookings, but when we are full our pager system lets you browse the garden centre until a table is ready.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver to all NG postcodes every Monday, with a £30 minimum spend. Delivery is kerbside and charges depend on your postcode. See our delivery page for areas and prices.
Do you offer a trade discount?
Yes. Our free trade card is for verified gardening and landscaping businesses, and the scheme also works for schools, care homes, In Bloom groups and councils. A £50 minimum spend applies, and the card can also be used at our sister site, Floralands. Trade card details.
Do you have a loyalty card?
Yes. The Hollybeck Privilege Card collects points for every pound you spend, which you can redeem in the garden centre and the tearoom. Ask a member of our team to open an account.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, Hollybeck gift cards are available to buy in the gift shop and the tearoom.
Are your plants grown in Britain?
Around 80% of our plants are grown in Britain.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking, including disabled parking bays.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs on leads are very welcome in the garden centre. In the Topiary Tearoom, dogs are welcome on the terrace but not inside.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there are customer toilets, including an accessible toilet.
Is it accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs?
Yes, Hollybeck is wheelchair and pushchair friendly.
