Hollybeck Nurseries is a family run nursery, we endeavour to stay very horticulturally based providing core gardening products to both amateur and professional gardeners.  All of our plants are the highest quality and excellent value for money and we are extremely proud to say that up to 90% of our plants are grown in Britain. 

All of our staff have good horticultaural knowledge and are very happy to help our customers with their gardening queries whenever possible.  Our goal is to provide each customer with a pleasurable plant buying experience every time they visit.  Many of the team specialise in paticular plant areas and enjoy sharing their know how with our customers.  (To find out more about the Hollybeck Team just scroll down!)

 At Hollybeck Nurseries we go to great lengths to ensure the paticular high quailty of the plants we sell.  As our logo says 'Plants Are Our Priority'.  This sets us apart from many garden centres with customers returning again and again because of the quality of the plants we stock.  Our Speciality  is Spring Bulbs many of which we farm ourselves.  We like to sell the majority of our bulbs loose so we can ensure the highest quality and standard of our bulbs but at really competive prices.

We try to make everything we do gardening related, for us it's all about the plants!  Even the new Topiary Tea Room is used to host gardening talks and workshops!

We have a very loyal customer base here at Hollybeck Nurseries; as our way of thanking our regular customers we created The Privilege Gardener Card.  This is a loyalty card which allows customers to collect loyalty points and be kept up to date with events and promotions.

Trudy Orme, Managing Director, Hollybeck Nurseries & The Topiary Tea Room

Trudy's favourites are spring bulbs, conifers and flower arranging.

Chris's specialities are chemicals, shrubs and gardening gadgetry!

Lauren Wall, Shop Manager

An all rounder Lauren  writes our monthly newsletter and several gardening columns, she especially likes houseplants.  She can even bake cakes too!

Ros Cartright

Ros likes to keep the shop tidy and specialises in bulbs and house plants.  She also likes to keep Trudy in line! Well..... she is her Mum!

 Lynn Harley

Another all rounder with 25 years horticultural experience, Lynn is our Head Potter, she creates most of the baskets and containers you see around the nursery.  She specialises in fruit trees and topiary.

Karen Doxford

Karen is a highly qualified horticulturalist specialising in perrenials, shrubs and trees. When she isn't in her  own garden she loves to ride motorbikes!

Neil Cooper

You will often find Neil whizzing around the nursery on the fork lift making sure we don't run out of compost!  Neil is the man to ask if you have a question about garden chemicals, compost and vegetables.

Julie Holland

Julie is the tidiest member of the team, cleaning up after everyone else!  When she's not tidying the nursery she specialises in herbs and bedding plants.

 Ryan Chapman

The baby of the team, Ryan keeps the yard tidy and running smoothly.  If you need a hand to the car Ryan can provide the muscles you need!

Glenn Hoe

When Glenn isn't travelling far and wide collecting and delivering our plants he is our resident Mr Fix It, making sure the site is kept safe and in tip top condition!

Jane Buchanan, Tea Room Manager

With many years experience in the catering trade Jane is a brilliant cook, creating mouthwatering cakes and amazing soups!

Helen Fynn, Tea Room Supervisor

With lots of experience in customer services, Helen will ensure you recieve a warm welcome at The Topiary Tea Room.  She especially likes eating cake and drinking coffee!
